What is Hinduism and How Did it Begin? (2)

What is Hinduism?

Hinduism is one of the most diverse and complex religions. It is the world's oldest religion and is the third largest in followers with over 950 million followers worldwide. Hinduism is mostly practiced in India and Nepal.

How Hinduism Began:

Hinduism originated in India thousands of years ago. It is hard to say who founded Hinduism because the religion dates back thousands of years and it  has such a remote past that it cannot be traced to any one individual. The first Hindu teachers were called Brahmin, they passed down the Hindu teachings through word of mouth then 4,000 years ago these stories were written down in the sacred text called the Big Veda.

Some other sacred texts include the Upanishads,
 the Vedas and the Bhagavas-Gita.

What You Should Now Know:

Hinduism is a complex and very old religion
Hinduism does not have a designated founder
The first Hindu teachers were called Brahmin
Sacred texts include The Upanishads, The Red Veda and The Bhagavas-Gita.

This is a super project...lots of well written text, great pictures as a support and nice follow-up and summaries at the end of each section.

This is definately an A+ piece of work, and if your teacher thinks otherwise, have your teacher give us a call :o)

    Congratulations!
